Today I went to catch the bus to get home. I take the train from NU to a station fairly close to my house, then take a bus home. Two to three days a week I catch the same bus at the same time in the same place. And on nice days there is lovely sunshine in that spot that I enjoy basking in for awhile before the bus comes. Today was a beautiful day. But when I went out to the spot, there was no sunshine. I was really confused for a moment or two. And then I realized that the hour time difference (from changing the clocks this weekend) put the sun behind the station ceiling. I sadly went and sat on the benches under the covering, since now it doesn't matter that they're covered.
At some point today I was looking for my keys. I could feel some keys in a pocket, but they weren't the right ones because they were just a small set. Probably my bike key or something. And then it dawned on me--those were my keys! Minus two large church keys, two church closet keys, and the car key (which has been gone for a little while), I only have two house keys and a small bike key. A small reminder that life has changed.
Small changes. That's what life is always made of. Big changes come too. This weekend marked the two and one year anniversaries of some pretty big changes in my life. So in comparison, I said nothing changed this Nov. 6. But those little changes. I think they can change the course of my life, too.

Hello, my friend. I read your blog a lot, but definitely need to do better about leaving comments. Anyway, it's good to see what you're up to. And I read a book recently that I thought I must suggest to someone living in Boston because it may be about places you know about. Have you read "Make Way for Ducklings?" It's a cute read if you haven't. Hope all is well,
