Crossing the Bridge


One lovely Tacoma morning Roland, Elisabeth and I walked down to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge--and then walked over it! Awesome!!


(side note: the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, one version of it, was the bridge that collapsed because of vibrations--of science videos fame)


We had a ton of fun.
Just getting out and walking.
Running up the steep part.
Dropping pebbles over the side and counting how long until they splashed so very, very far away (Roland later calculated they must have been going 75-90 mph when they hit.)
Talking.
Mr. Engineer pointing cool things out (like parts of this center area).



Of course, we picked pretty much the foggiest day that I was there to go. It was still fun. And, on that foggy morning, the light of revelation broke through and began to illuminate an idea in my mind and heart.
