My Chelsea friend

This post is long over-due.  But it's summer vacation/catch-up time.

Chelsea came to Boston for the month of June to study floral design at a school her.  And to be a blessing in my life.  It was fabulous to have a friend right in my own house!  We had so much fun together.  That fun only grew after we became the sole-occupants of the house.  :)  We loved it.

We attempted to catch the bus in the morning.  Rode to school/work together.  She brought home amazing floral arrangements every day.  She listened to me. And talked to me.  And hatched great plans with me.  She was a great confidante--so many of those "secret" things people always want to know that I don't share.  I watched her baby grow (inside her) and tried to be a support when she was missing home (Montana) and family (especially her husband--who came out at one point and was also fun to have around).

One sweet memory was the night I was in charge of F.H.E.  I was so stressed out about everything related to it (I was doing a treasure hunt--because I like making life complicated).  So, she came to our single's ward FHE, just to be my moral support and help me. It was a huge blessing.  And so very Chelsea.

I missed her SO much when she left.  But I was so grateful for the month we had together.  Friends are such a wonderful part of life!

Sadly, I didn't take many pictures that month so have almost none of her or her arrangements.  On one of the last nights I snapped a few (while she was trying to get Jaya on film). Not the best, but at least it's something.
