Wonderful Wedding

I've already written in detail about Nelly and Americo's wedding for my family.  And then I wrote two other posts (below this, so in proper order).  So this will mostly be pictures. And not really good ones--because I only have a few on my camera.   But here goes.

On Saturday, July 23, my dear friend Nelly was sealed for time and all eternity to her sweet husband, Americo. And then Nelly's daughter Nelly (or Nellita, as we sometimes call her) came in and was sealed to them both.  It was very wonderful.

By the time we left the temple, clothed as a wedding party, the rain had stopped the sun come back and a sweltering day was upon us. Later we transitioned to a lovely reception, where we celebrated, ate, ate cake (it was such an incredibly delicious cake that it needs it's own listing; I ate TWO pieces--and usually I eat none), danced, danced, and danced some more (also need their own listings, because there were many different kinds of dancing being done).

And yes, I got the bride's bouquet.  Not caught, because it was given away in Oaxacan style. [I'll explain later, but right now I'm going to talk to Baby Benson on the phone. He just turned 18!]  Don't get excited, it's not the first.  I think the first might have been the one at Renee's wedding 10.5 years ago. hmmm
