Little bit of commentary

Just a few comments on the below posts' subjects:

Southern girls:
My apartment really does have four girls from the south.  Two from South Carolina, me from North Carolina and from Virginia (Richmond, actually the south not DC; and she has lots of southern roots). It's rather an unusual thing to happen in this neck of the woods.  We've known for about five months it would be like this, so we've been planning a party.  What we didn't know is that Sara would be leaving just a month after her arrival (she didn't know either, but sometimes you need to follow the Spirit to whatever odd place it leads you). So it was short lived, but nice while it lasted.

So only one other group entered a video, which almost by default meant we won.  Not too thrilling of an end. But lots of people watched it and we've had so much fun with it.  (thanks for those who voted and watched and commented) I imagine we'll be hearing about it for a fair while still.
But probably my two biggest compliments about it come from my family.  It was my parents' first time to purposefully invite YouTube into their home--they love me that much! :)  and Lietta (my almost 3-year old niece) is apparently quite fascinated with it. Laura (her mother) reports that she asks to watch it and is always full of questions: why doesn't he drink the drink; what's that white thing on her foot; why is she doing X; etc.  It warms my heart to know that someone is as fascinated with it as I am. :) As I've said to a few people, I feel kind of like a Disney princess.  Only I don't think that Lietta watches a lot of Disney princess, so with her at least, I'm more popular. :)
