Ya mighta heard tell 'bout a whole house full'un southern belles in Somerville; donna how they got themselves stuck up in thar no 'count, crazy Yankee territory, but itza sho 'nuff true story.  They'z up there.  Ah mean, we'ze up here. And we'z havin' a shin-dig down out our place this here Friday night. We figured we best be celebratin' are southern roots (and branches and all of us, since we're sure 'nuff southern through and through).

There'll be a heap a good grub and some right purdy southern gals.  Whaht mo'e culd ya be wantin?  [if'n ya said sumin' more, Ah tell yu what--don' be so p'ticular!]

So if ya got a hankerin for some fun times, or just be wantin' to fill yer bread basket we'll be seein ya at xxx MA on this here Frahday night. (7:30 we be handin' out da grub. Cum too late the old woman gets a little ornery and might have her friend in hand).

If'n ya knows yer comin, could ya let me know?*  Ah wanna 'nuff biscuits fer all y'all.  (If ya ain't sure, come on over anyway.  But ya might be eatin the gizzard.)

Oh, an' I almost forgot to say this part ('cause I don't like to be thinkin' on it): This'll be a farewell for our Sara Leckie, too.  She's gettin' herself outa this har Yankee land real soon (like this here comin' up Sunday)

Oh, an' one more thang. If'n ya gots yer own southern roots and ya wanna bring some digs to share 'round: we like that too.  (Ore if ya got some suthern gear o anything suthern. An' speakin' o suthern, I'ma gonna leave ya with onea mah favorite suthern songs--just 'cause I wanna)

Lotsa suthern love,

Katrina, Laura, Ruth n Sara

* for reals, RSVP if y' can. Ah wanna have enough grits, goobers and possum stew fer ya all.
