Happy Father's Day

I don't know that there are any fathers who read my blog, but I still want to acknowledge the day.
I love fathers!  I'm so grateful for this essential, wonderful role in Heavenly Father's plan and for the many good men who fill it.  Yesterday I saw a father helping his son learn to ride a tricycle and it was adorable.  They were speaking a language I don't know (most likely Portuguese), but I could still understand because it was simple and so universal. How very grateful I am for Fathers, earthly and heavenly, who have patiently helped me learn to do things one pedal push at a time. And done so much more. Today I attended a beautiful baptism and I pulled out pictures of my own baptism. There's my young father.  I loved him then--and that love has only grown through the years.  Oh, how I love him! How grateful I am for him, for his steady presence in my life. And I get to see him in 2 short days!!  :)

Oh, yes. I am so grateful for good fathers all over the earth. And for good men in general.  What blessings they are!
