The Family is Ordained of God

So, the best thing that has happened to me in quite some time is watching this training.
It's training Sister Beck did a few months ago. My mother told me about it awhile ago, but I hadn't watched it yet, because it's 48 minutes long. Well, I finally sat down and watched it yesterday morning and my life is changed. Literally, forever changed. I agree with Sister Beck that teachers/leaders working with young adults need to teach this doctrine more clearly, because I've been in that group for 11 years now and I have never understood these doctrines as she taught them. So clear and unmistakable. So right. The Spirit and my reason both telling me that they are true, true, true. Clarification of things that I've heard all my life, but now explained more clearly and understandably than I've ever understood before. Really, I don't know what else to say except that my life has been changed. And you'll probably see many posts in the future about the doctrines of the family.

In other news, I had an amazing day at the temple on Saturday. I work there now and it is so wonderful!!
On the way home (still 2 hours from home) my car started going out of control. But a lot of prayer and it made it home safely. I had to make a trip to the mechanic this morning--not what you want to do when you're unemployed, but things aren't as bad as they could be.
It's very cold here, but snow has still not come. Another almost disaster that is just bad, not disastrous.
I have a job interview tomorrow. It's for a job that I applied for 3 weeks ago. The job would be amazing, but I'm not sure if I want to live in San Antonio. Well, for now it's not an option yet, anyway. I'll keep you updated.
And then I have other secret plans and clever tricks up my sleeve for looking for a job.

And that's all for today.

Thank you so much for posting this! I finally watched it today. So, so great. I hope to be articulate as I testify of these truths to the YW and all I come into contact with. And thanks for your "private" comment on my blog :)
