Touria

This is a a wonderful client who I worked with last year. We became quite close--but never got to meet, since she was in a far away part of the state. Well her town was on the way from Tarboro to Charlotte, so I stopped to see her. It was a lovely visit. She told me that the day before she had been having a very, very bad day. She's far from home and very lonely. She'd talked to her mother in Morocco, but was still sad. And then I called to see if I could come over. And through her tears she assured me that she knew God was aware of her and had sent me. And I felt that she was right, through and through my being I felt that this was true. It was good to be an angel again.
She also cooked enough food to feed my entire family--I am not exaggerating. And my family can eat. I ate so much, but I just couldn't do it justice. I only have one stomach. She sent a lot of it with me (and me flying out in the morning--I can just imagine tying to carry it all through security! Thankful for Sister Beachum taking care of that). Of course the longer I stayed there the more things she gave me (most I couldn't take with on the plane--but a couple of awesome dresses came along), but the greatest gift was her love and getting to know her better. She's such an amazing woman; I knew that last year but I know even more now.
What a special blessing to get to visit her!
