Heads Carolina, Tails California

Yesterday this song ("Heads, Carolina; Tails, California") came though on my Pandora account. I've heard it before, but it struck a chord this time because I've spend the last few days trying to decide where I want to go for the next phase of my life. We'll get back to that, but I'm going to share the song with you first so you can listen as you read the rest of my blog. It's just a fun song! (Warning: it may stick in your head for awhile.)

Here's the (appears to be) official video on youtube. But I think I liked this one even better. Either way, you'll hear the great song. "Modern day Moses, looking for the promised land"--yep, I understand. "We're going to get out of here if we have to ride the Greyhound bus"--I've done it, several times (and taken people along with me). And a lot more. Maybe I like it so much because of love both of the places in the title. Or because it's so catchy.

Or because it seems like an easy solution to my decision making that I'm going through right now.

But, I am not going to flip a coin. I have a much more logical, intelligent and FUN way of choosing where to go. I'll write more about that in the near future. In the meantime, if you want to be a part of the deciding process and haven't gotten an email, let me know and I'll send it your way.

I don't think I've had that e-mail yet. I think the song title is pretty appropriate for you especially because of you ties to both coasts.
