Some random facts

My favorite Halloween themed advertisement: (on the sign outside a salon)

"Is your hair scary?
Come on in for a new cut and color."

My back yard (where I park) is an absolutely muddy mess. It has rained and rained and Thursday's inch+ in less than an hour just finished it off. The ruts where I park (which is under a cover) are at least 2 inches deep.

(starting to dry up now. Hoorah!)

Last night I bought a blouse with ruffles on it. Ruffles. Me. I have no problem with other people wearing ruffles. But I don't buy clothes with ruffles on them. I can't believe I did it.

(Yes, the blue beautifully matches my eyes. Have something to do with buying it? Maybe.)

Fun things I did this week:

help make (and eat) homemade apple pie; hang out by a bonfire;

go to a UofA football game (5th row seats, behind Razorback team, on the 40 yard line--awesome view, less than awesome game, still fun);

(I'll have you know, these are not zoomed in, at all.)

sleep an extra hour.
